Jul 03, 2024 12:41 PM

A man in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, England, was sentenced to four months in prison for carrying a six-inch Master Sword in public. Anthony Bray, 48, claimed he used the replica from Nintendo’s The Legend of Zelda series as a "fidget," but police deemed it a dangerous weapon. Caught on CCTV on June 8, Bray was seen carrying the item openly, leading to his arrest. The police stated that, despite Bray's claims of no harmful intent, the sword posed a perceived threat. Bray received a four-month prison sentence and a £154 (approximately $195) victim surcharge.
