According to an announcement made during their quarterly earnings report, Konami is working on multiple remakes within the Silent Hill series, as well as completely new games. So far, only a remake of Silent Hill 2 developed by Bloober Team is confirmed, with no release date announced. Konami's statement suggests that other games in the series may also get remakes.

Other Silent Hill projects have been announced and released as well. Scottish studio NoCode is working with publisher Annapurna Interactive on Silent Hill Townfall, a game set in Japan in the 1960s. Silent Hill: Ascension, an interactive series updated regularly, was released earlier this week but has received criticism for its inclusion of microtransactions.
