GameMill Entertainment has announced The Karate Kid: Street Rumble, a 16-bit-styled multiplayer side-scrolling beat-'em-up, scheduled for release on September 20 for PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. The game features pixel-art graphics reminiscent of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge and allows players to control classic characters like Daniel Russo, Mr. Miyagi, Kumiko, and Ali Mills. The game pits them against iconic foes such as Johnny Lawrence, John Kreese, and Terry Silver across 12 levels, all set in the 1980s. The announcement comes as the Karate Kid franchise celebrates its 40th anniversary, and with the first part of the sixth season of Cobra Kai launching on Netflix later in July.
