Gold Road takes players to the West Weald region of Cyrodiil, featuring the city of Skingrad, and includes three distinct areas: the lush forests of Gold Road, the jungles of Valenwood Annexation, and the Colovian Highlands. Gamers can look forward to engaging in a fresh narrative, undertaking new quests, and interacting with a newly introduced faction called Recollection.
Among the features in the Gold Road expansion is a Scribing system that allows players to collect and customize unique skills dubbed Grimoires, providing fresh gameplay opportunities for those already familiar with their character builds. Furthermore, a twelve-player trial called Lucent Citadel will be introduced. The expansion is priced at 40 euros.
