james gunn reveals true status of dcu projects in production

James Gunn, co-CEO of DC Studios, confirmed that Superman and Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow are the only two DCU films currently in production. Superman is set for a July 11, 2025, release. Additionally, Peacemaker Season 2, Lanterns, and several animated projects including Creature Commandos are actively being produced. Projects like Paradise Lost, Waller, Booster Gold, and others are in active development but not yet greenlit. Gunn emphasized that nothing moves into production without finalized and approved scripts. The headliner for the DCU is Superman, featuring David Corenswet as Superman and Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, with other characters set to appear across multiple DCU projects.
