This sequel to the popular first-person shooter will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X | S, including on Game Pass. The announcement revealed new cast details, with Ralph Ineson joining as Sheath, a new character and boss, while returning favorites like Betsy Sodaro and J.B. Smoove reprise their roles. High on Life 2 was initially shared at the Xbox Games Showcase in June 2025 and follows the comedic escapades that made the first game a major success, which featured unique talking guns and a quirky narrative.

The game continues to build on the franchise's humor and style, which won over a large player base and became one of the top launches on Game Pass. The original High on Life was developed by Squanch Games and received acclaim for its inventive gameplay and comedic elements. Following its success, a High on Life show was also announced. Despite the departure of co-creator Justin Roiland, who resigned after facing legal issues, the series remains a highly anticipated addition to the gaming landscape.
