Goku & Vegeta nab 24 spots in DB: Sparking Zero

Jan 29, 2024 10:11 AM

Bandai Namco has let loose initial details about the heavily anticipated roster for Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero, where Goku and Vegeta variants notably dominate among the revealed characters. The roster so far consists of 24 versions showing different forms and timelines of the iconic Saiyan characters, such as Goku (Z - Early) and Super Saiyan. While this expansive selection could hint at a roster as large as that of its predecessor Budokai Tenkaichi 3, which had 162 different characters, the announced list is currently sparking humor within the community for its Saiyan saturation.

Fans nostalgic for the Budokai Tenkaichi series have eagerly waited for its comeback, now rebranded as Sparking! Zero. Other characters like Majin Buu, Trunks, Jiren, and Broly were also teased, though the primary focus remains on the Goku and Vegeta lineup. The release date of the game has not been specified, but it will be available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S once launched.

When is Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero expected to release, and which platforms will it be available on?

As of now, there is no official release date for Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero. It is confirmed, however, that the game will be released on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S consoles.

Background Information:

The Budokai Tenkaichi series is a lineup of fighting games based on the popular anime and manga series, Dragon Ball. Developed by Spike and published by Bandai Namco, these games are known for their wide range of characters and the freedom to fight in three-dimensional environments. They have been praised for capturing the look and feel of the Dragon Ball universe, offering fans the experience of their favorite battles and moments from the series.
