Garry's Mod vs Skibidi Toilet DMCA Clash Resolved

Garry's Mod creator Garry Newman recently dealt with a DMCA claim related to the "Skibidi Toilet" series. The claim, initially believed to be from Skibidi Toilet creator Alexey Gerasimov (DaFuq!?Boom), was revealed to be a misunderstanding involving Invisible Narratives, a studio collaborating on a Skibidi Toilet film. The claim cited unauthorized use of Skibidi Toilet characters, which are based on assets from Half-Life 2. Gerasimov clarified on Discord that he wasn’t behind the DMCA, and the issue has since been resolved between both parties.

The DMCA claim was due to alleged unauthorized use of Skibidi Toilet characters in Garry's Mod, which are copyrighted by Invisible Narratives, a studio involved in a Skibidi Toilet film.
