The popular game Diablo IV is set to launch its second season titled the 'Season of Blood', according to a recent announcement by Blizzard. Game enthusiasts are buzzing with anticipation as Blizzard has planned two extensive livestream events to discuss the forthcoming season in detail.
The first event is lined up for Wednesday, October 4. It will start at 11 a.m. PT/2 p.m. ET/7 p.m. BST, highlighting the upcoming vampire-related elements in the game. Adam Fletcher, the Community Director, and members of the game's development team will discuss the new vampire hunter character and vampire mechanics during this livestream.
The Season of Blood was first revealed at the Gamescom Opening Night Live. It brings a new twist to the gameplay, allowing players to use vampire blood to enhance their own characters, much like the Malignant Hearts feature from Season 1.
Furthermore, Blizzard will use the opportunity to share an array of quality of life improvements that come with the pre-season patch. These improvements range from additional stash space to enhancements in mounts and dungeons.
A second event, known as the 'Campfire Chat', is planned for Tuesday, October 10. This will be a more laid-back discussion focused on class balance changes for the new season and reveal redesigns to the in-game systems presently in development.
The Season of Blood is set to officially commence on October 17, with the pre-season patch arriving a few days earlier. Further details and exact dates are expected to be announced during the livestreams.
