Fortnite includes a playable summary of the first Alan Wake

Epic Games has released a detailed summary of the first Alan Wake game in Fortnite, aiming to catch up potential newcomers or those who have forgotten the events from the game that was released in 2010. To experience the 20-minute long summary, one needs to have Fortnite installed and input the island code 3426-5561-3374. This leads the player to a 'Fortnite version' of the story from the first Alan Wake, created in partnership with Remedy - the developer of the Alan Wake series - Zen Creative and Spiral House. Earlier this month, Alan Wake was added to Fortnite as a playable skin.

Alan Wake 2 is set to be released on October 27, ten days later than planned. It will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, and PC. The game doesn't have a physical release at the time of writing. The game publisher is Epic Games. In Alan Wake 2, players control not only the titular writer but also FBI agent Saga Anderson, investigating mysterious murders in Bright Falls, bringing her on the trail of Wake, who disappeared thirteen years ago. Players can switch between these characters for a personalized experience.
