This latest addition to the series, which represents the 20th release, is set to launch on November 6. A significant highlight of this particular series is its debuting in Japan.
In addition to being available on traditional platforms, Football Manager 2024 Mobile will be exclusively hosted by Netflix this year. The latest edition stands out for its comprehensive design, featuring a new functionality that allows players to switch careers from previous versions including the 2023 Football Manager, FM23 Console, and FM23 Touch.
A roadmap showcasing all planned feature updates and their respective release dates was also made public during the game's revealing. These upgrades reach from more astute financial management and transfers to a novel Set Pieces feature in the PC/Mac version. Details about these features will be shared throughout September.
Miles Jacobson, Studio Director at Sports Interactive, expressed pride in the release during the press announcement, defining Football Manager 2024 as a tribute to football and its fans. Beyond the PC/Mac version, November also sees the return of Football Manager 2024 console to PlayStation 5 and Xbox, with the game being available again on Game Pass for PC and consoles.
More specifics about the console version for Football Manager 2024 will be released during the third week of October. The Touch version of the game plans to make a comeback on Nintendo Switch on November 6. Detailed features and further platform information is scheduled for release in early November.
In anticipation of the release, pre-purchases of the game on PC, Mac, Xbox, or PlayStation 5 directly from SEGA-approved vendors will receive a 10% discount. Early access is also being offered, allowing PC and Mac users to begin their career ahead of schedule, two weeks prior to the official release date on platforms like Steam and the Epic Games Store.
