The shared photo showcases an empty cafeteria with a banner that reads "We're not dead", with a noticeable blood splatter obscuring the word 'not'. This announcement follows up on last year's news that the game would be adapted into an animation.
The series appears to mirror the game's concept where crew members are threatened by an alien shape-shifter intent on causing chaos, sabotaging the ship, and eliminating everyone. There's currently no release date for the animated series.
Among Us gained massive popularity in 2020 despite its initial 2018 release, involving players in tasks to maintain a spaceship with the twist of an imposter among them tasked with killing the crewmates.
