The first look at Disney's live-action Snow White reveals the Seven Dwarfs reimagined through CGI animations. The unveiling of this image has been accompanied by news of a delayed release date, now pushed back by almost a year to March 21, 2025

The cast includes Rachel Zegler as the title character, alongside familiar names Bashful, Doc, Dopey, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy, and Sneezy. Gal Gadot is also appearing as the Evil Queen, while information about the actors for the dwarfs is still under wraps.

Controversy has risen around the representation of the dwarfs in the film, especially due to Peter Dinklage's criticism of the handling of the subject. Responding to this, Disney affirms their efforts to avoid perpetuating stereotypes from the original 1937 animation by consulting members of the dwarfism community during the film's creation. Rumors also suggest non-dwarf actors may play the dwarf characters, although this claim remains unverified.

This iteration of Snow White is directed by Marc Webb, with a script penned by Greta Gerwig of "Barbie" and Erin Cressida Wilson.
