"Final Fantasy Creator Plays FF14 with Custom Xbox Controller"

Hironobu Sakaguchi, the creator of the Final Fantasy series, disclosed during the Final Fantasy 14 FanFest event that he plays the MMO Final Fantasy 14 using a customized Xbox-controller. Sakaguchi exhibited the Xbox Elite controller with an attached chatpad, explaining that he removed most buttons to prevent accidental pressing.

The FanFest also became a platform for various other new announcements surrounding Final Fantasy 14. The Viper, which is one of two new jobs being introduced in the forthcoming expansion, Dawntrail – slated to release next year was unveiled. In addition, it was confirmed the beta for the Xbox version of FF14 will occur early next year.
