Players will need an Xbox Game Pass Core subscription, formerly known as Xbox Live Gold, to play the final version of the game once the beta concludes. This requirement for Xbox is unique as there is no need for a PlayStation Plus subscription to play on PlayStation consoles. The beta offers the same free trial content found on other platforms, including everything up to the Stormblood expansion and the ability to level characters up to level 70.
