Square Enix has announced that Final Fantasy 14 will be landing on Xbox Series X and S consoles in spring 2024. This will include the digital-only Xbox version, with the Dawntrail expansion scheduled to launch in summer that year.
The Xbox Series X version boasts faster load times and 4K resolution, with both Xbox versions offering a cross-play feature across all platforms hosting the title.
Square Enix CEO Takashi Kiryu hinted that more games from the developer might also come to Xbox consoles in the future, however, he didn't reveal whether this meant Final Fantasy titles would no longer be exclusive to PlayStation consoles first.
Previously, Microsoft has also revealed the free Xbox Games with Gold for August and an Xbox controller with a pizza scent.
