Apr 15, 2024 12:33 PM

Square Enix has shared optimistic news about the development timeline for the much-anticipated Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3. The company hopes to complete the development within three years, matching the timeframe it took to finish Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. Tetsuya Nomura, the creative director, confirmed that the main storyline is already prepared, and voice recording sessions are planned to begin soon. Additionally, producer Yoshinori Kitase is contemplating adding "something new and important" to the final installment, which did not feature in the original game but is expected to delight fans. The development team from the previous titles will return to ensure the trilogy's concluding part meets the high expectations set by its predecessors.

What new features can players anticipate in Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3?

Though specifics have not been revealed, players can look forward to a mystery feature that was not present in the original game but is anticipated to bring joy to the fans, according to Tetsuya Nomura.

Final Fantasy VII Remake is a multi-part reimagining of the iconic 1997 PlayStation game Final Fantasy VII. The original title is revered for revolutionizing the RPG genre with its cinematic storytelling, unforgettable characters, and hybrid turn-based action gameplay. With the remake series, Square Enix aims to expand upon the original narrative and gameplay, while modernizing the graphics and introducing new elements to the beloved universe. With two parts already released, fans eagerly await the conclusion of this modern retelling.
