Ed Boon teases Kitana's new look in Mortal Kombat 2 movie

Ed Boon has given fans their first glimpse of Kitana in the forthcoming Mortal Kombat 2 movie. This teaser came via Boon's post on X/Twitter, showcasing Kitana's iconic steel fan without fully revealing her costume or face. The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina star Adeline Rudolph will take on the role of Kitana, a fan-favorite character introduced in the Mortal Kombat II video game from 1993. The upcoming film, set for release on October 24, 2025, will see many of the 2021 film's cast returning, including new additions like Karl Urban as Johnny Cage and Tati Gabrielle as Jade. Simon McQuoid will be back to direct this highly anticipated sequel.
