The zombie-themed massively multiplayer online game, 'The Day Before', has been postponed once again, now scheduled for release on 7 December, announced by developer Fntastic. Multiple delays were faced, including issues over game name rights that led to the game's Steam page being taken down. Speculations of the game being a scam have been swirling, alongside controversies about developers not getting paid; both strongly denied by Fntastic.
The game was cleared again for Steam, with the page now live. The developers are planning to launch 'The Day Before' as an Early Access game on Steam to gather player feedback. Upon completion, the game will also be released for PS5 and Xbox Series.
'The Day Before' revolves around survival in a post-apocalyptic America, overrun by flesh-eating infected and survivors who kill each other for food and weapons. Players can either cooperate or compete against each other to stay alive. Exploration of abandoned houses, skyscrapers, and cars form a vital part of the game.
