Dungeons & Dragons players are in for a treat as One D&D will introduce the long-awaited ability to drink potions as a Bonus Action. This popular homebrew rule, also featured in Baldur's Gate 3, is set to become part of the official game mechanics in 2024. The updated Player's Handbook will be available on September 17, 2024, followed by the Dungeon Master's Guide and Monster Manual on November 12, 2024, and February 18, 2025, respectively.

What is One D&D and how does it differ from Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition?n

One D&D is the upcoming edition of Dungeons & Dragons, bringing significant rule updates and new mechanics to the game. Unlike the 5th Edition, One D&D will allow players to consume health potions as a Bonus Action, making gameplay more dynamic and allowing players to engage in other actions during their turn.

One D&D marks a pivotal update in the tabletop role-playing game to celebrate its 50th anniversary. Additional anniversary celebrations include the largest miniature booster set release ever. These enhancements aim to refresh the core rulebooks for the first time in over a decade, creating a more streamlined and engaging gaming experience for both new and veteran players.
