Double Dragon 3D Beat 'Em Up by Arc System Works Revealed

Arc System Works is bringing a 3D revival of the classic 2D beat ‘em up game Double Dragon, scheduled for release in 2025. The new game, titled Double Dragon Revive, will be available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC. This marks a modern reimagining of the influential 1980s game, with 3D-modeled characters and updated gameplay. Double Dragon was a staple in arcades and consoles in the late '80s and early '90s and is considered one of the most influential beat 'em up games. Arc System Works, known for titles like Dragon Ball FighterZ and Guilty Gear Strive, acquired the Double Dragon franchise rights in 2015 and has since released multiple related games, including Double Dragon 4 and River City Girls.

Double Dragon Revive will feature 3D-modeled characters, a significant shift from the original 2D graphics, offering a modern take on the classic beat ‘em up gameplay.
