Don’t Miss These Games Leaving PlayStation Plus in June

May 21, 2025 11:03 PM

Sony has announced the games leaving PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium in June, including highly-rated titles like Monster Hunter Rise and Inscryption. There's a total of six games on the departure list, which is significantly less than last month’s massive drop of over 22 titles. Along with Monster Hunter Rise, games like Rogue Legacy 2, Inscryption, and others will no longer be available, so players looking to enjoy these offerings will need to act quickly. Meanwhile, new additions to the service feature games like Battlefield 5 and Stalker: Legends of the Zone Trilogy.

What games are leaving PlayStation Plus in June 2025?

The games confirmed to be leaving PlayStation Plus in June 2025 include Monster Hunter Rise, Rogue Legacy 2, Inscryption, After Us, Kayak VR: Mirage, and Avicii Invector.

Monster Hunter Rise, developed by Capcom, is a notable entry in the beloved Monster Hunter series, which has surpassed 100 million copies sold worldwide. The game was released originally for the Nintendo Switch in 2021 and has been praised for its engaging gameplay and innovative mechanics, making it a must-play for fans of the action RPG genre. Inscryption, a unique card-based horror game created by Daniel Mullins, combines puzzles and narrative, granting a fresh experience that has captivated players and critics alike.

Kinda wild how PlayStation Plus keeps playing musical chairs with bangers like Monster Hunter Rise—guess I’ll finally have to stop procrastinating and finish it. At least the smaller exit list means less FOMO this month (Keeps it casual while acknowledging the rotation trend and the urgency to play, without echoing the existing comments' focus on missing Inscryption specifically.)

Man, losing Monster Hunter Rise and Inscryption stings, but at least the departure list is way shorter this time. Gotta love how Sony keeps us on our toes with these monthly game rotations though Battlefield 5 and STALKER are solid adds, but man, I’ll miss those late-night Inscryption sessions—that game’s vibe was something else.
