Blizzard Entertainment has shuffled the timeline for Diablo 4's seasons, announcing a delay for Season 4 which pushes its release to May 14, 2024, a month later than the originally planned April 16. This change, announced in the Campfire Chat series, extends the current Season 3, Season of the Construct, giving players more time to experience its content. The Public Test Realm (PTR) for Season 4 will run briefly from April 2 to April 9, where feedback from this testing phase will be used to polish the upcoming season. Diablo 4 Season 3 had introduced class changes and new items, while Season 4 is set to bring a significant itemization rework. In addition, Blizzard confirmed Diablo 4 will be available on Xbox Game Pass on March 28, and a ray-tracing update is scheduled for PC on March 26. The PTR will, for the moment, be exclusive to PC Battle.Net users, with hopes to expand this testing to more players in future.
