Jan 22, 2024 11:11 AM

Blizzard Entertainment's latest update for Diablo IV, the Season 3 patch named Season of the Construct, promises an array of enhancements to improve player experience. With patch 1.3.0 launching on January 23, players can anticipate new content for Season 3, smoother progression in the Season Journey, and several quality of life improvements.

One notable change in the upcoming patch is the constant visibility of event timers on the world map, which is sure to please players who engage with events such as Helltides. In addition to this, the patch offers a more distinctive design for the Chest of Mysteries and Living Steel Chest icons to aid in map navigation. Furthermore, visual cues for the Chilled/Frozen status effects will be clearer, aiding players in gauging how close they are to being completely frozen.

Controller users will appreciate the revised mount button bindings and the improved Gold trading experience. Also, min-maxers will find the clarification on keyword bonuses (additive or multiplicative) quite useful, especially with the skill tree rework that allows players to see the refund cost before respeccing. The patch also introduces Uber Uniques as transmog options, enriching customization possibilities.

The Greed Shrine now drops additional Gold, scaling with enemies defeated during its active buff, and completing Nightmare Dungeons now rewards players with a Purified Sigil from a tier above, accompanied by a boost to Distilled Fear. These updates aim to entice both new adventurers and veterans alike to dive into the treacherous depths of Diablo IV.

What new features can we expect in the Diablo IV Season 3 patch?

The Season 3 patch for Diablo IV introduces always visible event timers on the map, revamped icons for the Chest of Mysteries and Living Steel Chest, a visual update to Chilled/Frozen status effects, improved controller functionality, clarification of keyword bonuses, transmogrification options for Uber Uniques, and loot enhancements for the Greed Shrine and Nightmare Dungeons.

Diablo IV is the fourth installment in the critically acclaimed Diablo series known for its dark fantasy and horror themes, action-packed gameplay, and in-depth character customization.
