Nov 14, 2024 10:31 AM

NetherRealm has officially unveiled Ghostface as a DLC guest character in Mortal Kombat 1, showcasing his unique abilities like using a hunting knife and summoning allies. However, the real twist is that Ghostface has two additional versions hidden in the game, linked to lesser-known characters from the Mortal Kombat universe. These alternate forms, known as The Enforcer and The Assassin, draw on characters Kobra and Kira from Mortal Kombat: Deception, adding depth and nostalgia to the game's roster. Ghostface will be available for early access on November 19 and for general purchase on November 26, stirring excitement among fans.

What characters is Ghostface bringing back in Mortal Kombat 1?

Ghostface is secretly bringing back Kobra and Kira, two obscure characters from the Black Dragon clan in Mortal Kombat: Deception, as alternative versions of himself in the game.

Mortal Kombat 1 revitalizes the iconic fighting game series while introducing innovative gameplay mechanics. Released on September 19, 2023, the game continues to expand its character roster, including fan-favorites and newcomers alike. The inclusion of Ghostface represents a unique crossover with the horror genre, appealing to both Mortal Kombat and Scream aficionados. As players anticipate upcoming DLC, they are excited about the potential for even more beloved characters to join the fray.
