Sep 03, 2024 3:00 PM

The crowdfunding campaign for "Cyberpunk 2077: The Board Game" has achieved sensational success, raising over $778,000 in just ten minutes, marking it one of the fastest-funded tabletop games. This tactical game for one to four players offers an innovative twist on the Cyberpunk narrative, allowing players to explore alternate scenarios with beloved characters like V, Judy, Panam, and Jackie. The game features 13 missions, unique mechanics, a time pressure element to heighten excitement, and over 50 Street Stories for enhanced replayability. Two editions are available, with the Deluxe Edition featuring fully plastic miniatures and additional upgrade options. The rapid funding also unlocked all stretch goals, promising more content and enhancements.

What are the features of Cyberpunk 2077: The Board Game?

The board game is cooperative and story-driven, offering 13 missions, time-sensitive gameplay, and character engagement from the Cyberpunk universe. Players can look forward to diverse narrative experiences with an Afterlife Mission Generator for additional replay value.

Cyberpunk 2077, released in December 2020, is an open-world RPG set in a dystopian future, originally based on a tabletop RPG. The upcoming board game expands this universe further, complementing CD Projekt Red's plans for additional animated projects and a sequel game, as well as a live-action adaptation in development.
