Closed alpha test Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League coming soon

Nov 21, 2023 8:50 AM

Exciting news for fans of the DC universe and cooperative gameplay, as "Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League" is gearing up for a closed alpha test. This highly anticipated title by developer Rocksteady, known for the acclaimed Arkham series, invites players to take control of the Suicide Squad in a mission to save Metropolis, and the world, from the clutches of Brainiac. The alpha test, which runs from November 30 to December 4, will offer a sneak peek at part of the game's campaign focusing on the online infrastructure.

Interested players can attempt to join the test by creating a Warner Bros. account and signing up. However, keep in mind that this alpha represents only a segment of the final product, as the game is still under development. This action-packed adventure allows for a single-player experience with the ability to switch between squad members or teaming up in a four-player co-op format. The game is slated for release on February 2, 2024, for PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5.

After facing criticism earlier in the year for its live-service elements, the game has recently shown off extensive gameplay. Players looking forward to jumping into the roles of iconic anti-heroes can check out the gameplay video. It's also worth noting that this alpha test is available through Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S, with PC players recommended to use a controller. Selected participants will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement to keep details under wraps.

With the promise of saving the world in the familiar setting of the Arkham games universe, "Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League" seems to bring a fresh and exciting experience to fans of both the superhero genre and cooperative multiplayer games. Keep an eye out for February 2024 to join the squad and thwart Brainiac's evil plans.

Rocksteady is back at it with its signature style in the DC realm, teasing Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League which has me hyped for another round of superhero antics—this time with friends. The move to include a coop experience in the Arkhamverse is a bold one that could really pay off when we squad up to take down Brainiac.
