Chucky, New Killer in Dead by Daylight, from Child's Play

The popular multiplayer horror game Dead by Daylight has announced a new addition to its roster of killers: Chucky from the Child's Play movie franchise. This character, notorious for being a doll possessed by a serial killer, will join the game starting November 28. Behaviour Interactive, the development studio behind Dead by Daylight, has confirmed that Brad Dourif, the original voice actor for Chucky, will reprise his iconic role.

To further immerse players into the spine-chilling experience, the game will also offer a Good Gal outfit for Chucky, inspired by the character Tiffany Valentine from the Bride of Chucky, with voice work done by Jennifer Tilly. Gameplay-wise, Chucky is designed to be a stealthy character with the ability to close the distance quickly and navigate the environment with his Scamper ability, allowing him to leap through windows and under pallets.

Following a re-review in 2021, Dead by Daylight was praised for its effectiveness in emulating the slasher film genre and its status as a leading asymmetrical multiplayer game. With Chucky's addition, the game continues to solidify its appeal to horror enthusiasts and fans of the genre.
