BUGSNAX GETS PHYSICAL CARD GAME

Apr 02, 2024 2:26 PM

The popular video game Bugsnax is expanding its universe with a new physical card game, thanks to a successful Kickstarter campaign. Despite launching on April 1st, which raised eyebrows due to April Fools' Day, the campaign swiftly met its goal of approximately 13,979 euros and has since doubled that amount. The Bugsnax card game is designed for two to six players, where players use ability cards and traps to outsmart their opponents and aim to become the 'Snakmaster General' by scoring six points first. Kickstarter backers can secure six basic decks and ten advanced decks with their pledge, with entry starting at 25 dollars and other tiers offering the video game itself. The fundraising campaign has 29 days remaining, and backers can expect their physical copy of the card game by August this year.

What is the Bugsnax card game?

Bugsnax card game is a tabletop adaptation of the Bugsnax video game, where players use cards to compete against each other with the goal of scoring six points and being crowned 'Snakmaster General'.

Bugsnax, initially released for PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5, is an adventure game developed by indie game studio Young Horses.
