Antstream Arcade has announced a major expansion for their platform, which offers the world's largest collection of officially licensed retro games. The service is set to welcome 27 iconic Bandai Namco classics into its diverse library, including fan favorites like Pac-Man, Galaga, and Dig Dug. This addition brings the total number of games available on Antstream Arcade to well over 1,300 titles, which already include games from Atari 2600, Commodore 64, SNES, SEGA Genesis/Mega Drive, and the original PlayStation.

Besides the classic gaming experiences, Antstream Arcade offers unique challenges in mini-games formats and social components like duels, global leaderboards, and the Giant Slayer mode. In the latter, players become the "Giant" of selected games, aiming to fend off the community in a bid to hold the top title. Weekly tournaments and cloud saves are among other features designed to enhance the gaming experience on the platform.

CEO Steve Cottam of Antstream expressed gratitude towards Bandai Namco Entertainment for their support, emphasizing the cultural importance of these games in the history of gaming. Their inclusion not only offers nostalgia to veteran gamers but also allows new generations to enjoy these classic arcade games, aligning with Antstream's goal of preserving gaming history. Subscriptions for Antstream Arcade are available on various platforms, including Xbox, PC, and mobile devices, offering lifetime access for $79.99 or an annual membership for $29.99.
