A mysterious, almost visual-free trailer has been released for the upcoming Blumhouse horror film 'Imaginary' at theater showings of Five Night at Freddy's. Unlike most trailers, this approximately 50-second teaser mostly consists of eerie audio played over a black screen, possibly to heighten the suspense and engage the audience's imagination.
The movie 'Imaginary' is set to follow a young woman who discovers her childhood imaginary friend is real and there's a deep sense of resentment about being left behind. The film is slated for release on March 8, 2024, and is directed by Jeff Wadlow, known for his work on Kick-Ass 2 and The Curse of Bridge Hollow.
Moviegoers who opt for a theater experience rather than streaming Five Nights at Freddy's on Peacock will be treated to this unconventional trailer. More details about FNAF are available in a spoiler-free review and an interview with director Emma Tammi on the IGN website.
