Beavis and Butt-Head Join Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Fun

Jun 23, 2025 6:31 PM

Beavis and Butt-Head are making their way to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone with the Season 04 Reloaded update. This collaboration has sparked plenty of discussions among fans, considering the duo's iconic status from the 90s and their distinct cartoonish aesthetic juxtaposed with military-style outfits. Players are sharing humorous takes on how these characters will fit into the game's highly realistic war environment. However, there are concerns about the monetization practices surrounding the skins, particularly as Activision has received backlash for high-priced bundles and aggressive marketing strategies. As the mid-season update approaches, players are speculating on the cost and longevity of these skins, especially with the next installment of the series set to release soon.

How much will the Beavis and Butt-Head skins cost in Call of Duty?

The exact price for the Beavis and Butt-Head skins has not been announced yet. However, they are expected to fall within the trend of high-priced bundles that Activision has been criticized for recently. Players are hoping for fair pricing, especially considering the aggressive monetization strategy implemented in prior seasons.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 continues the franchise's tradition of incorporating pop culture references, and its integration of characters like Beavis and Butt-Head is in line with previous collaborations, which have included the likes of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and even bacon-themed skins. This reflects a larger trend in the gaming industry where developers invite nostalgic elements into intense gaming experiences, dividing the audience regarding enjoyment and realism.

Gotta love how CoD keeps blurring the line between gritty military sim and Saturday morning cartoons—Beavis and Butt-Head might be the most absurd crossover yet, but I’m weirdly here for it. That said, if these skins cost more than a full indie game, even Butt-Head would call it ‘uhhh, lame.’
