Batman ninja strikes back: sequel confirmed

Warner Bros. Japan has officially announced a sequel to the 2018 CG movie "Batman Ninja," titled "Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League." The original film transported Batman and his allies from Gotham City to feudal-era Japan, creating a unique and visually stunning narrative. The sequel will continue under the direction of the original team, including animator Kamikaze Douga of "JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure" fame. A special panel at Anime Expo 2024 will provide more details about the film and perhaps reveal how Batman finds himself entangled with the Yakuza. Actor Koichi Yamadera will return to voice Batman in the upcoming film.
