Baldur’s Gate 3 has just launched its highly anticipated Patch 7, marking a significant milestone a year after its release. This update introduces official mod support, enhancing longevity for the Dungeons & Dragons-inspired RPG. It includes 13 new cinematics showcasing alternate endings for evil playthroughs, improvements to Honour Mode combat, and revamped split-screen gameplay. The patch boasts over 1,000 bug fixes and enhancements, taking up approximately 11.6GB on PC with a required installation space of 160GB. Mac and console players can expect this patch in October. However, due to extensive testing, cross-save features from PC to console are not yet supported, and crossplay remains an ongoing development issue. In addition to this patch, Larian Studios has hinted at future updates that will introduce crossplay and a photo mode.
