Backbone unveils exclusive Death Stranding controller

Gaming accessories manufacturer Backbone has unveiled a limited edition Death Stranding: Director's Cut controller exclusively for iPhone 15 Pro, coinciding with the game's release on Apple devices. Set to launch on January 30th, this special edition controller honors the partnership with Kojima Productions and is designed to work with USB-C port iPhones. The controller, lacking a Lightning port variant, features a unique design with branding from both Backbone and Kojima Productions. It also includes a copy of the game which is compatible with other Apple devices such as iPads and Macs with M-series chips. The collaboration follows Backbone's previous venture with PlayStation for a PS5-inspired controller. The Death Stranding-themed accessory is anticipated to be a coveted collector's item for fans.

The Backbone One Death Stranding controller is designed only for iPhone models with a USB-C port, specifically the iPhone 15 Pro series. There is no variant for iPhones with a Lightning port, which limits its compatibility.
