Assassin's Creed Mirage adds permadeath mode

Feb 21, 2024 8:36 AM

Ubisoft has rolled out a significant update for Assassin's Creed Mirage, bringing a highly challenging permadeath mode to the game, dubbed 'Full Synchronization Challenge.' This mode, available on easy, normal and hard difficulty settings, requires players to restart the game completely if they die, kill a civilian, or stray outside the playable area. Those who conquer this mode on hard difficulty are rewarded with an exclusive Talisman, Rayhan costume, and six additional dyes for customizing existing outfits.

Update 1.0.7 is not only about the new gameplay challenge; it also includes numerous bug fixes, the introduction of a new Easter egg, and a Transmog feature that lets players showcase all unlocked outfits in-game. Additionally, a major update in December of the previous year had already brought a New Game Plus mode to Assassin's Creed Mirage, pushing the boundaries of replayability in the franchise.

What rewards can players earn by completing the Full Synchronization Challenge in Assassin's Creed Mirage?

Completing the Full Synchronization Challenge on hard mode grants players a unique Talisman, the Rayhan costume, and six new dyes for outfit customization.

Assassin's Creed Mirage, a title by Ubisoft, continues the long-standing Assassin's Creed franchise tradition, offering players new ways to explore and experience its historical settings. As an action-adventure game, it allows for both exploration and combat set within richly detailed environments that draw inspiration from real historical periods. As the series progresses, it often introduces new features and modes, such as the Full Synchronization Challenge and New Game Plus, to further engage its fanbase and add replayability to the immersive worlds Ubisoft creates.
