Ark: Survival Ascended Xbox Series releases November 14

The upcoming game Ark: Survival Ascended, a remake of Ark: Survival Evolved, is scheduled for release on November 14 for the Xbox Series X and S as well as for Windows PC. Cross-play will also become available on that date. The game has already launched on Steam in October, and a PlayStation 5 version is expected to come out by the end of the month, with an exact date yet to be announced. This updated version is powered by Unreal Engine 5 and features enhanced graphics, an improved user interface, more character customization options, and splitscreen multiplayer. Additionally, it will include an in-game mod browser for console versions.

The announcement came after news that the sequel, Ark 2, had been pushed back to a late 2024 release. Some controversy arose when Studio Wildcard initially announced that the original Ark: Survival Evolved servers would be shut down upon the new release and that the remake would initially only be available bundled with Ark 2. However, the decision regarding the bundle was later reversed.
