Hector Sanchez, president of interactive and new media at Annapurna, emphasized the innovative nature of this partnership, aiming to extend the reach of these beloved games into new formats. Currently, Remedy's Alan Wake 2 has received critical acclaim, and the studio is also working on DLC expansions and a remake for Max Payne.

Fans can look forward to film and TV adaptations of both franchises while also anticipating the development of Control 2, which is in a "production readiness stage." Additionally, Alan Wake 2 continues to expand with its already released DLC and a second DLC set to arrive soon.

Alan Wake made its debut in 2010 and quickly became a cult classic for its gripping narrative and unique gameplay mechanics involving light and darkness. Control followed in 2019, known for its surreal environments and complex storytelling.
