Adam Kici?ski, CEO of CD Projekt Red, a leading video game company known for hit titles like 'The Witcher 3' and 'Cyberpunk 2077,' has announced that he will step down from his position in 2025 and move into a supervisory role. Having been with the company for three decades, this move comes as part of a major management restructuring initiative.

From January 1, 2024, before he steps down, Kici?ski will serve as the chief strategy officer. Adam Badowski and Micha? Nowakowski, who are currently serving as the chief creative officer and chief commercial officer respectively, will jointly fill the CEO position from the same date.

The role of the supervisory board that Kici?ski is set to join is integral to the functioning of CD Projekt Red. It monitors company activities and helps in decision-making by offering recommendations and approving resolutions. Interestingly, the co-founder of CD Projekt, Marcin Iwi?ski, had taken a similar route in October the previous year.

In other news, CD Projekt Red recently disclosed that 'Cyberpunk 2077' has sold a whopping 25 million units, surpassing 'The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt' sales at a comparable point in time. A live-action adaptation of 'Cyberpunk 2077' is also purportedly in the works.

In conclusion, CD Projekt Red, having made a significant impact in the gaming world, is heading for a leadership change while continuing to hit milestones and develop exciting new projects.
