What happened
Offworld Industries has officially announced that Squad is coming to consoles. In the studio’s FAQ, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S are explicitly listed as platforms for which the tactical shooter is in development. IGN reported that the first public test period is tied to PS5.
