What happened
Aggro Crab and Landfall have given the console version of PEAK a release date. PEAK: Console Edition will launch digitally on October 22, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series X/S, with a planned start time of 11:00 a.m. Eastern. That brings the co-op climbing game from the two studios to the current-generation systems from Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft.
The developers also confirmed that cross-play will be available from day one. That means players on the different consoles will be able to play together as soon as the game launches. No price has been announced yet for the console version, and no additional details have been shared about possible content differences compared with the PC release.
PEAK originally launched on Steam in June 2025 and is described as a first-person climbing game for up to four players. The console announcement therefore builds on an earlier PC release, but this new edition is specifically aimed at the console market. The confirmed platforms are PS5, Switch 2 and Xbox Series X/S.
Landfall also said a physical PS5 edition is in development. According to that announcement, the boxed version includes a game disc, an extra game code to give to a friend and a sticker pack. An exact release date has not been announced yet; the plan is for later in 2026. The shared information does not mention any other physical edition for other platforms, so the boxed release is currently only confirmed for PS5.

Background
PEAK is a co-op climbing game from Aggro Crab and Landfall. The original PC version launched on Steam in June 2025 and supports up to four players, according to the available information. With PEAK: Console Edition, the game is expanding to the console platforms of Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft, with the digital release scheduled to arrive at the same time on PS5, Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series X/S.
The confirmation of cross-play is an important part of the console announcement, since it lets players on different systems play together from launch. No price has been announced yet for the digital console version. There is also no official information yet about extra content, technical changes or platform-specific differences compared with the PC version.
In addition to the digital release, Landfall is working on a physical PS5 edition. That version is planned for later in 2026 and includes a game disc, an extra code that can be passed on to a friend, and a sticker pack. The available information currently names PS5 only for that boxed edition, with no confirmation of a physical release for Switch 2 or Xbox Series X/S.
