Wild Update: Palworld Unleashes New Island, Pals and More

Palworld, the monster capturing and crafting survival game, received a major update announcement at Summer Game Fest. The Sakurajima update, set to launch on June 27, will introduce a new island with a Japanese theme, featuring cherry blossoms, bathhouses, and traditional architecture. New gameplay elements include a raised level cap, additional Pals, new subspecies, a new raid and boss, a new faction, buildings, the Oil Rig stronghold, and an arena. Crucially, the update will add Xbox-dedicated servers, enhancing the multiplayer experience. Since its early access release earlier this year, Palworld has consistently received updates, with the latest adding Arena Pal PvP battles in April.

The Sakurajima update brings a new Japanese-themed island, higher level cap, new Pals and subspecies, a new raid, a new faction and boss, new buildings, the Oil Rig stronghold, an arena, and Xbox-dedicated servers to Palworld.

Palworld has drawn comparisons to Pokémon due to its creature-catching mechanics and visual style.
