This recommendation comes as the game introduces new systems, including the innovative Ages system that changes gameplay dynamics significantly. The campaign will transition through three distinct Ages: Antiquity, Exploration, and Modern, making it crucial for players to familiarize themselves with these mechanics. The developer has also set Small as the default map size to offer a manageable experience, allowing players to focus on mastering new features like the Diplomacy system. The game launches on February 11, 2025, with a Deluxe Edition available from February 6.
