Player First Games, founded by Tony Huynh and Chris White, will remain under their leadership as they integrate with Warner Bros. Games. This acquisition follows the May release of MultiVersus, which had previously been available through early access and open beta. The game has received positive reviews for its engaging 2v2 combat mechanics and its diverse cast of characters from various Warner Bros. franchises. MultiVersus Season 2 is set to launch tomorrow, adding new characters like Samurai Jack and Beetlejuice, as well as a ranked mode.

What new characters are being added in MultiVersus Season 2?

MultiVersus Season 2 will introduce Samurai Jack and Beetlejuice as new characters.

MultiVersus is a platform fighter game designed to compete in the same space as Super Smash Bros. It features characters from a variety of Warner Bros. properties, such as Batman, Superman, and Bugs Bunny. The game prioritizes online 2v2 gameplay, which sets it apart from other games in the genre. Player First Games' integration with Warner Bros. is expected to enhance the game's development and player experience moving forward.
