Vampire Survivors, hailed as one of the best games of 2022, is expanding its horizons with a new collaboration, adding a touch of Among Us to its gameplay. Announced at the Day of the Devs' Game Awards stream, the new DLC called "Emergency Meeting" will integrate the famous Among Us characters into the Vampire Survivors universe. This paid content will introduce nine colorful new Among Us-inspired characters, each with unique abilities. For instance, Ghost Lino can pass through walls and is immune to damage, while Guardian Pina can buff the defense of allies. Fans can also expect to find 15 new weapons, including one that uses "supermassive sound waves" and another called "Just Vent," allowing players to trap their enemies.

The update also comes with a new stage named Polus Replica, brimming with a variety of biomes to explore, filled with tasks and treasures. However, players should be wary of the unpredictable dangers from space inhabitants such as aliens, robots, and even ducks. Descriptions also suggest that stationary objects like bins should not be trusted, injecting a sense of Among Us paranoia into the new stage. The DLC will be available on PC and Xbox on December 18 for an affordable £2 or $2.50, making it a perfect holiday treat for gamers.
