Nintendo has unveiled the expanded edition of Kirby and the Forgotten Land for the Switch 2, set for release on August 28, 2025. This new version, titled Kirby and the Forgotten Land - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Star-Crossed World, builds on the original game's success with enhanced graphics and performance, bumping frame rates from 30fps to 60fps and resolutions up to 1440p docked. The most significant addition is the remixed campaign known as Star-Crossed World, which offers two difficulty levels and features a co-op mode, allowing players to choose between playing as Kirby or Bandana Waddle Dee.
