ubisoft leaks beyond good & evil 20th anniversary by mistake

Beyond Good & Evil 20th Anniversary Edition has been officially announced by Limited Run Games following an accidental leak by Ubisoft. This edition includes a re-orchestrated soundtrack, a new treasure hunt, an anniversary gallery, and supports up to 60FPS. The digital version will be available on June 25th, while physical copies release on July 12th. The original game, released in 2003, was praised for its humor and intelligence. Beyond Good & Evil 2, a prequel, is still in pre-production. Ubisoft has kept development details tightly under wraps since its 2017 reveal at E3.

The physical copy of Beyond Good & Evil 20th Anniversary Edition will be available on July 12th, 2024.

Beyond Good & Evil, created by Michel Ancel, was originally released in 2003 for PS2, PC, Xbox, and Gamecube. It follows the story of Jade, who unravels the dark secrets of her government. An HD re-release came out in 2011 for Xbox 360 and PS3. The game was noted for drawing similarities to Zelda but stood out with its humor and human touch. Beyond Good & Evil 2 aims to serve as a prequel and has been in the works since it was announced in 2017.
