TWILIGHT ANIMATED SERIES COMING SOON

Fans of the beloved "Twilight" saga have something new to look forward to as it has been announced that an animated series based on Stephanie Meyer’s vampire romance is in development. This news comes over a decade after the release of the first "Twilight" movie, reigniting the fervor that surrounded the Team Edward vs. Team Jacob debate. Lionsgate, with Michael Burns announcing the series at a Morgan Stanley media conference, is taking on the new adaptation, aiming to capture the attention of the series’ dedicated fanbase as well as new viewers with the current popularity of anime and animated content. No specific details, such as release date or voice cast, have been shared yet, but production seems to be in its early stages. The series has been known to be in the works since as early as April of the last year, transitioning from a TV show to the animated format. Producers Wyck Godfrey and Erik Feig, who were involved in the original films, are on board, with expectations that Meyer will also contribute to the series. "Twilight" started as a book series in 2005, quickly exploding into a global phenomenon comprising of novels, film adaptations, and additional book versions offering varied perspectives of the story.
