TURN 10 SHAKE UP FORZA MOTORSPORT PROGRESSION

Feb 09, 2024 3:40 PM

Turn 10 Studios is revamping the progression system of their recently released title, Forza Motorsport, following player feedback. The updates are expected to debut in March. To enhance player experience, it will be possible to upgrade car parts at any time instead of them being level-locked. In efforts to simplify vehicle enhancements, Car Points, which are critical for car upgrades, will be easier to earn and can be exchanged for Credits. Currently, the developer is testing a conversion rate of 4500 Credits for 500 Car Points, aiming to achieve a 'healthy balance' for gamers. The exact date for this significant update is not confirmed, but it indicates Turn 10's commitment to fine-tuning the game based on community input. Forza Motorsport has been heralded for capturing the essence of classic racing culture but criticized for lacking a rich single-player experience.

What new changes are coming to Forza Motorsport's progression system?

In March, Forza Motorsport will receive an update that allows players to upgrade car parts at any time, makes Car Points easier to earn, and introduces an exchange system where players can swap Car Points for Credits, improving the overall progression system.

Forza Motorsport, known for its simulation racing and detailed car customization, offers an immersive automotive experience. With its history of providing realistic racing mechanics and environments, Turn 10 Studios continues to showcase its expertise with each installment. The series' dedicated community frequently provides feedback, which the developers actively incorporate, demonstrating a strong post-launch support ethic.
