Stormgate's Early Access Hits Steam This August

Frost Giant Studios has announced that their sci-fi fantasy RTS game, "Stormgate," will enter Steam Early Access on August 13, 2024. Revealed during the PC Gaming Show in June 2024, the announcement came with a new trailer featuring the game's third faction, the Celestial Armada. The Celestial Armada is highlighted as highly technologically advanced interstellar travelers challenging the Infernal Host faction for Earth's control. This new faction has been praised by playtesters as the most original RTS faction they've experienced. "Stormgate" will be free-to-play but offers three Early Access bundle deals: $25 for the Early Access Pack, $40 for the Deluxe Early Access Pack, and $60 for the Ultimate Early Access Pack. Each pack offers unique content and the benefit of two weeks of preview access starting July 30, 2024.

The Early Access Pack at $25 includes the Amara Human Vanguard Hero, the first Chapter of the Vanguard campaign, and the Gold Vanguard Army Accent. The Deluxe Early Access Pack at $40 includes everything in the Early Access Pack plus the Maloc Infernal Host Hero, Auralanna Celestial Armada Hero, and the Chicken Pet. The Ultimate Early Access Pack at $60 includes everything in the Deluxe Early Access Pack plus Chapters 2 and 3 of the Vanguard campaign and the Firestorm Fog of War Shader. All bundles provide two weeks of preview access starting July 30, 2024.

"Stormgate" is the debut game from Frost Giant Studios, founded in 2022 by former Blizzard Entertainment developers. With backgrounds in creating acclaimed titles like "StarCraft 2" and "WarCraft," the team leverages its expertise to deliver a fresh experience in the RTS genre.
